As a starting point, let’s assume that, as AI technology advances, including systems that employ big data analytics and machine learning, current clinical practices will undergo radical changes. Given this, an essential question is: what current healthcare practices will resist these changes? A more interesting question, however, is: would it be desirable for medicine to become a mode of interaction between people or subjects, currently patients, and AI systems, without the need for the participation or intermediation of health professionals?
